Main Gear Illumination Lights.

In response to requests from airline customers, DeVore designed and developed a new Main Gear Downlock Illumination Light for DC-9 / MD80 /MD90 / Boeing 717 aircraft. This light is required for night dispatch, so it is highly reliable and sealed, with a long lamp life. It has a bayonet base and uses existing wiring, circuit breakers and relays. The light is a 75 watt, 28VAC Quartz Halogen operated at only 18 VAC to increase lamp life to >50,000 hours. The DeVore unit is a direct form / fit replacement for the factory installed unit and uses the same mounting base.

	For high reliability, the DeVore light is sealed and is anodized aluminum for maximum protection from the elements in the wheel well.
	The DeVore unit is a direct physical replacement for the factory installed unit using the same mounting base.
	Existing wiring, circuit breakers and relays are used, thereby minimizing the installation time and cost.
	Miniature, bayonet base, 75 watt, 28VAC quartz halogen lamp is operated at 18VAC to increase lamp life to over 50,000 hours.
	Light output of rerated lamp is 1.5 times the factory installed light.
	Quarter turn fasteners make it easy to remove the lens assembly without any tools.
