Major corporations spend millions of dollars every
year to keep their product names and company logos on billboards. Research has led
them to understand that increased name recognition by consumers also results in increased
sales.
While names and logos painted on helicopters are visible during the day, they literally
jump out at the viewer when spotlighted at night.
The competition between television newscasters, aeromed operations and businesses
has led to an increase in demand for fuselage / logo light illumination on their
helicopters. DeVore has developed lighting systems for most helicopters to address this
requirement, with light assemblies typically being mounted on the aft LH and RH skids of
the aircraft.
