not had problems with DeVore's door whatsoever, but their warranty more than covers
anything that could go wrong. We plan to equip our entire fleet with all of DeVore's

BAe Jetstream 31 and 32 Products

Jetstream Gear Doors and Airscoops
DeVore manufactures a modified upgrade
of standard BAe Jetstream 31 and 32 landing gear door assemblies. These ruggedized doors
provide greater reliability and can withstand greater in-flight loads than the factory
standards over a much longer period of time. Over 150 Gear Door Assemblies have been
modified and have been in service for years without a single failure.
NOSE LANDING GEAR CENTER
& SIDE DOORS
MAIN GEAR DOORS & ACM AIRSCOOPS
DeVore's mission of solving costly
Jetstream 31 & 32 maintenance problems began in 1990 when we offered new main landing
gear doors for the Jetstream 31 & 32 for under $8,000. and replacement doors for
less than $4,000. Then in 1991, we began an upgrade repair program for the plane's
nose gear side doors. In 1992, DeVore developed a replacement ACM airscoop with a
stainless steel intake.
Among the airlines currently using DeVore products for the Jetstream are: Westair (United
Express), Jetstream International (USAir Express), Ontario Express (Canadian Partner),
Atlantic Cost Airlines (United Express), Express Airlines 1 (Northwest Airline), Simmons
Airlines (AMR Eagle), CCAir (USAir Express), TWExpress and Flagship Airlines (AMR Eagle).

Choose Between New Landing
Gear Doors Or Modified/Upgraded Doors*
* For upgrades, door assembly must be
supplied in condition permitting modification.

DeVore's finished modified/upgraded door looks
new with its two coats of Imron.
DEVORE'S
DOOR IS STRONGER
Increased material
thickness of door skins.
Increased thickness of 3
main stiffeners and edge members
Interior modifications
add strength, increase door life.
DEVORE'S DOOR HAS MORE SOLID RIVETS
Increases ratio of solid
to blind rivets by a factor of 3.
More solid rivets and
interior modifications increase door's stiffness eliminating the problem of
"working" rivets.
DEVORE'S DOOR MOVES FLANGED RING LOCATION
& DIMPLES OUTER SKIN
New flanged ring
location and dimpled skin prevent outer skin rubbing by main gear strut housing when
landing gear is in retracted position.
DEVORE'S DOOR IS CORROSION-PROTECTED, HAS
NEW SEALS.
All parts are
manufactured from alclad material.
Prior to assembly, all
parts are alodined and coated with zinc chromate primer for maximum corrosion protection.
Each door's outer skin
is given 2 coats of white Imron.
Each door's inner skin
is given 2 coats of gray Imron.
FAA Approves DeVore's Unique
Repair Procedures for Jetstream 31 & 32 Nose Gear Doors.

Nose Gear Center Door
Due to high cost of replacement
procedures, we have found it more economical to offer an entirely new nose gear center
door. This new door maintains the highest quality standards as set by DeVore's other
Jetstream Products.

Initial teardown and inspection of Jetstream
31/32 nose gear side doors reveals serious delamination and corrosion
Nose Gear Side Door
DeVore's repair procedure peels off the outer skin,
strips out all old adhesive, inserts all new honeycomb, preps all surfaces so that bonding
is uniform and complete. The door is repainted white on the outer skin and gray on
the inner. A new bulb seal is also installed.
New ACM Airscoop With
Stainless Steel Intake

THIS NEW AIRSCOOP ELIMINATES TEDIOUS COSMETIC AND GLASS REPAIRS, THUS
SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCING MAINTENANCE COSTS.
Erosion problem of the
original fiberglass intake is eliminated by the stainless steel intake.
Special silicon-carbide
gel-coat is used on the external surface of the fairing to eliminate erosion.
Snap ring grommets are
replaced with large area, flared on, camloc grommets especially designed for composites.
Chafing is eliminated by
using a compressive neoprene gasket which assures positve pressure between airframe and
fairing.
Approved under STC
SA8593SW (Model 3101) and STC SA8621SW (Model 3201).
