DeVore Aviation Corporation of America, established in 1954, is an aviation manufacturer with extensive engineering and manufacturing capabilities. DeVore owns more than 200 STCs (Supplemental Type Certificates) and TSOs (Technical Standard Orders)  issued by the  FAA for various DeVore aircraft and airport products. DeVore's focus is  primarily on aircraft lighting systems (external as well as internal), recognized worldwide through our line of Tel-Tail vertical tail floodlights.  Additionally, we manufacture a line of Forward Facing Recognition Lights (FFRLs), main rotor illumination lights and fuselage floodlights for helicopters.

DeVore recently was awarded contracts to develop, manufacture and supply all of the exterior lighting systems Landing and Taxi lights for the Raytheon Premier I and Hawker Horizon, as well as the innovative Bell/Augusta 609 Tilt Rotor. Additionally, Raytheon Aircraft Company selected DeVore to design and manufacture lightweight carbon fiber wingtip assemblies with high temp polycarbonate position light lenses. DeVore developed and produces the Pulse Light Approach Slope Indicator (PLASI) system  for airports and  heliports around the globe. DeVore also designs, develops and manufactures unique aircraft-specific equipment, including  cargo pods,  gear doors, bleed air mod kits and a Flash Measuring Gun (FMG4400D), utilized to measure an aircraft's strobe light intensity.

DeVore maintains it's own in-house composite and sheet metal fabrication and assembly capabilities. Our high quality production facility includes machining capabilities, an electronics shop and testing equipment. DeVore's customers include over 135 commercial and regional airlines, 20 aircraft manufacturers, hundreds of airports and thousands of aircraft owners, as well as the governments of 25 nations worldwide.
